Whether new to hashing or returning, a warm welcome awaits. Hashing is non competitive running, a great way to exercise and meet new friends and what's more, you don't have to run as walkers are welcome too.
There is a small charge of £1 per run to cover incidentals. The markings are in chalk (roads and pavements) and flour (countryside), both being biodegradable and wash away in time. We respect the countryside code, animals and obviously Real Ale. Our home is Scarborough however we enjoy getting about to neighbouring hashes, National and International events. A fantastic way to travel and make new friends.
The hash runs all year round and in the winter we just remember to take torches. Don't worry if you haven't got transport as we car share.
So, what's stopping you.......................just turn up 10 to 15 minutes before the start time wearing sensible running gear and take it from there.
